Kforce's Austin office is seeking a strong Recruiter for their Technology Team. As a Recruiter, your goal is to continuously recruit and pipeline candidates to place on contractual assignments within the Austin area. We're looking for the next Rookie of the Year to join us at our next Top Performer's Trip! Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Recruit qualified candidates by engaging in sourcing activities to include, but not be limited to: market research (ie, job fairs, job boards, etc.), identifying candidate sources, cold calling, recruiting calls, and attending seminars and networking events
- Determine and implement appropriate recruiting techniques for market, industry, skill set, and region
- Maintain ongoing relationships with candidates not currently on assignment
- Qualify candidates by conducting telephone and in-person interviews to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements
- Complete appropriate reference checks on candidates to ensure authenticity of stated skills and experience
- Present job opportunity to the candidate and negotiates compensation package
- Provide coaching and advice to the candidate throughout the client interview process to include counteroffers and job transition
- Once you identify qualified candidates, assist the Account Manager with your candidate's interview process

- Minimum 1 year of IT Staffing experience
- Motivation and a sense of urgency to achieve outcomes that exceed expectation
- Ability to proficiently handle difficult negations with professionalism and respect
- Excellent verbal/written skills
- B.A/B.S Degree is preferred
