Job Description

A technology driven semiconductor company in the Colorado Springs, Colorado area is looking for a Semiconductor/Technical Director/Manager. This individual will be responsible for managing the sensor array product development program in Colorado Springs including product planning and qualification and technical interaction with our customers. This individual will also participate in transferring existing technology developed at Gen 2 Fab to our new Gen 4 Fab being established. Additional responsibilities of the individual include resolving technical problems with customers, yield improvement, and manufacturing robustness. Major Responsibilities:

A Master's Degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Applied Materials Science, or equivalent experience with a proven track record in product development and management is required. 15 years of experience in the semiconductor industry including Management/Director-level experience is required. Flat panel display and/or image sensor and Amorphous Silicon experience is required. Semiconductor design, process, and manufacturing with a particular emphasis in amorphous Si TFTs and image sensors are preferred. Ability to recommend process integration and architectural improvements to enhance yield, lower cost, and improve product performance is necessary. Experience in the areas of digital X-ray detectors and array testing is a plus. Candidates must possess strong leadership and communication skills as well as excellent technical skills.
